Experience Required
Prior experience on snow and glaciers is strongly recommended. Climbers should have completed at least one peak above 5,000 m. Khosar Gang is rated challenging — physical fitness and acclimatization are essential.
Best Season
June to August offers the most stable weather windows for summit attempts. Early June can bring residual snow; late July and August are generally the most reliable months.
